ALAN TURING: LEADERSHIP AND LEGACY
Alan Turing and many other code breakers saved many lives by breaking the German Enigma code during WWll. Thanks to Turing and his fellow code breakers, much of this information ended up in allied hands - sometimes within an hour or two of it being transmitted. On the first day of war, at the beginning of September 1939, Turing started living at Bletchley Park, that served as the wartime headquarters of Britain's top code breakers. There truing would be a key player in helping win the war.
